HELP US SUPPORT THE RI SPCA - PROVIDENCE BOAT SHOW - 2013 CHARITABLE PARTNER
The RI Society to Prevent Cruelty to Animals (RI SPCA) is a private, nonprofit organization whose sole purpose is to protect all animals from situations that endanger them and advocate for the rights and humane treatment of those who cannot speak for themselves. The RI SPCA will have a booth at the show and staff will be on hand to educate attendees on their much needed service in the community. To help boost the resources they need to care for the animals, a portion of Sunday’s ticket sales will be donated to the organization. In addition, Maritime Solutions of Portsmouth, RI has generously donated a Walker Bay inflatable for the RISPCA to raffle at the Show. The winning ticket will be drawn on Sunday afternoon and the winner will be notified that day. Click here to view the Walker Bay Odyssey inflatable air floor 310 that will be raffled off.
The RI SPCA has an open door policy and accepts all animals whether weak, sick, disabled, abused or abandoned, as well as all those in need of a second chance. Their services include adoption, cruelty investigation and humane education; as well as medical assistance, paid for through its Marvin Fund, for the pets of many impoverished, disabled and elderly individuals who otherwise could not afford to care for them.
