Congratulations to our 2012 raffle winners
Gary Gabriel of Westport, MA won the Amtrak tickets for two to NYC.
L. Safford from Charlestown, RI won the Chariho School student made Canoe. The money raised will go toward their efforts to build and complete a St. Ayles Skiff. Schools mostly from New England will compete against each other this summer in New England waters using the skiffs they make. Thanks to this raffle, Chariho will now be able to meet the remainder of their boat, trailer and travel expenses!
Joe Notarantonio of Narragansett, RI won the new GPS donated by Kellogg Marine.

Bri Chmel, four-time and current reigning World Wakesurfing Champion, will be at the 2012 Providence Boat Show on Saturday and Sunday! Winnisquam Marine and Centurion Boats will be bringing this world-renowned wakesurfing superstar to the Show to present a video and field questions from attendees. Meet her at Winnisquam's space #12 on the Show floor!
Deals to Be Found at the Marine Bargain Basement
A first-ever feature of the Providence Boat Show in 2012 is the Marine Bargain Basement, located on the Sabin Street Lower Deck of the RI Convention Center, near the Show’s seminars & D.I.Y. workshops. Find the best deals in town from marinas, boat yards and retailers with tables of overstocked items, after-holiday specials, one-of-a-kind bargains and even some select used equipment seeking a new home. Be sure to check out this unique new component of the Show--you may walk away with the steal of the year! The Marine Bargain Basement takes place on Saturday & Sunday only.
The Marine Bargain Basement will feature a booth by the Show's Charitable Partner Clean The Bay offering products from Hinckley, Cove Haven Brewers, Greenwich Bay Brewers, Pirates Cove, Point Judith Marina, Port Edgewood, Stanley’s Boat Yard, Ocean House, Clean the Bay & Maritime Solutions.

Do-It-Yourself workshops
Professors and Pros will conduct daily service workshops and hands-on demonstrations on subjects such as out-board engine spring commissioning, diesel engine tune-ups, electrical circuits, anti-fouling paint and more. Learn what you can do on your own to save money and time. These interactive workshops will take place on the Sabin Street level of the RI Convention Center and are free with a boat show admission ticket.

Educational Seminars
The 2012 Providence Boat Show Seminar Series is chock full of useful information for boaters and anglers alike – and this year - there’s even Dragonfly Knot making for kids! Experts in the field will cover topics ranging from unique fishing tips and tactics, to Boatwise Marine Training School covering everything from “How to get your Captains License” to the latest update on the ethanol fuel controversy. Educational Seminars will take place on the Sabin Street level of the RI Convention Center and are free with a boat show admission ticket.

Live Trout Fishing pond
Give the kids a taste of fishing excitement or learn a few new tricks yourself at our fully stocked trout pond with hundreds of hungry fish right in the middle of the show…smack in the middle of winter!
