Enter to win a NEW Walker Bay Inflatable!

Edward Schwartz of Smithfield, MA was the proud winner of the 8 foot Walker Bay Inflatable Boat donated by Maritime Solutions of Portsmouth. Mr. Schwartz took delivery of his boat at 5:00 PM on Sunday. Though he won the boat after purchasing $5 worth of tickets, he promptly made an additional donation of $40 to the MY TURN Scholarship Fund noting that he truly appreciates the work MY TURN does with youth and he understand how difficult fund raising can be. A total of $921.00 was raised through raffle ticket sales. This money will be awarded to 2 graduating seniors in June who have participated in the MY TURN program. Students will be required to submit an application which clearly states the need for and use of the funds.

The CastingKids Program is nationally know for promotion and encouraging young people to go fishing. It is one of the most successful youth fishing programs in the country. The Bassmaster CastingKids Program is similar to the NFL punt, pass and kick events. However, in CastingKids the challenge is to flip, pitch and cast a hookless lure to a bull’s-eye target, thereby learning casting techniques.
