Providence, RI, January, 2009…The 16th annual Providence Boat Show will officially open to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Thursday, January 29th at 11:30 AM. Gates open at 12 Noon for the start of the four-day show that is held in conjunction with the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association (RIMTA). Governor Carcieri will cut the ribbon and offer remarks along with Mayor David Cicilline, Nancy Piffard, Show Director , Chris Ruhling, President of Rhode Island Marine Trades Association who will also present RIMTAs Boater Of The Year Award.
